A conservatory design creates a new garden room and is an ideal extension build to your kitchen or sitting room to give you more living, open space. It is also a versatile and flexible option to extending your property and can be built to suit any period of building. Many modern additions such as automatic vent systems, glazing specifications and integral blinds are now available. We offer a bespoke design and build service for your conservatory and we can advise on planning, selecting the best site, position and style – there are typically five styles of conservatory to choose: Combination: As the name suggests is a combination of a sunroom and a Georgian style conservatory. A good style where the existing space is tight but can be opened out into a wider space. Gable: A great solution for older style properties, with a square floor plan and a vertical front facade, maximising natural light into the property. Edwardian/Georgian: A traditional concept with a square, flat-front finish to the design. Sunroom/Studio room: The most flexible of all conservatory styles, with a flat roof, thus allowing for a contemporary, modern finish. Victorian: A traditional concept with a radius front finish. In addition, at Loxwood, we offer a dwarf wall application, where a low wall is built into the conservatory, thus allowing for furniture to be against the ‘dwarf wall’ but any unsightly backs are not seen from the outside.
